mondo condo capital fear

all those voices yelling in our ears

tell us not what we should know

confused like dickens on our brow

rotate what we do in life

around that firmly planted tree

some will stand square and rant

some will slink and rage at that

some will set their records straight

with wild denials at pearly gates

telling stories to one who looks

at the lines written in his book

some will only say the truth

they did precisely what they could

with what they had, tools at hand

no lies, distortions or running sad

me, I want to read those lines

for myself a least one time

for I was busy with my tasks

couldn't watch myself

while acting fast
